SO WHAT HAPPENS IN A SESSION?
Here’s a very brief overview of a first session.....
1. Chat to client about Hypnosis, the Brain and how Hypnotherapy can help you.
2. A comprehensive and friendly chat to find out history of client issue/s and what they would like to get from today’s session. If you think you ‘don’t know’ what’s making you feel a certain way or personally prefer not to talk about specific details, see my Kinetic Shift session - a ‘no content’ style of hypnotherapy, where you don’t have to explain anything out loud but you can get rid of the actual unwanted FEELING or blocked emotions working with the therapist as support.
3. Relaxation into Hypnosis Focus. Therapist helps client relax body and mind to find real focus. This can be done purely through specific breathing with hypnosis techniques and/or guided visualisation.
4. The hypnosis is then taken deeper for analysis or pure suggestion work, always working with what the client wants to explore, change or achieve (having found this out during the initial chat). Client gently brought out of hypnosis. Debrief and Plan.
